Description & Use: Our version of this famous Montreal Steak Rub delivers on taste. This Canadian steak rub has its origins as a version of an old world Romanian pastrami spice blend used to cure beef brisket. Use on its own as a dry rub sprinkled and rubbed directly onto your steak or mix with oil to create a lovely sauce for marinading. This interesting rub has many uses so why not rub into salmon before roasting or pan-frying, saute vegetables with a pinch or it or simply sprinkle a little over potato wedges before cooking.
All Pinch spice blends are hand blended in small batches in our own kitchen by the sea in Sussex.
